STILL THERE IN LONG RED WHITE Alango

Perhaps the name of the village of Long Alango, in Malinau District, East Kalimantan rarely appear in the news media, especially the village is one of the remote villages in the district of Hulu Bahau Dayak Kenyah inhabited since 350 years ago. Directly adjacent to the Sarawak Malaysia, Long Alango villagers have to face dilemmas.

Surrounded by tropical jungle stretched like a thick green carpet, supported by the equatorial climate is good for the growth of some types of agricultural crops, plantations and forestry and biodiversity should be its own potential for residents.

But the fact is people still underdeveloped conditions, transport is expensive, minimal roads so the material needs pokoh expensive, even limited livelihood sources resulting in less impact to the welfare of its citizens, plus public infrastructure and lack of access to information is also increasingly difficult for their lives.

Consequently also, some of them have to do a neighboring country in economic activity because it is closer, cheaper and more efficient.

Although they rely belly affairs of neighboring countries, but does not diminish the spirit of nationalism on their chests, still fluttering red and white, it's just that in the future the central government should pay more attention to their welfare.
